Hello! :)
I have been struggling with this week’s mandala. Normally, between last week’s mandala and this week’s, I get inspiration from somewhere. It doesn’t matter where it comes from, but it always manages to find me. This week… not so much. We’ve been having very, very cold weather here lately, and whenever I look outside I see nothing but white. White roofs, white roads, white cars, white people (I’m not being racist here, they’re just people covered in snow)…
So I took a look through my trusty saved ‘possible mandala’ pictures, and came across this one.
Instant happiness. Mariana from Behind My Desk blogged this picture a couple of days ago, and I saved it because it looks so serene and calm, and it was just the change of scenery I needed!
The close-up:
I love it. It calms me when I look at it and it reminds me of a sandy beach on a beautiful day, with blue skies :) I’m usually not a ‘blue’ fan, but I have to say, I’m really starting to like using this color in my work!

Just love it and I can really see how the colours came from the photo. I haven’t in the past worked it out because everything else I’ve seen of yours has had soooo many colours, but this time; I had the ‘ah ha’ moment. Brilliant! I know, I’m slow!
