By now you all know that I make tutorials for Crafttuts+, and my latest tutorial for them is how to make this amazing mandala rug!
It took me two days to make this mandala rug and it now keeps my company in my craft space. I designed this pattern from scratch and it’s perfect for a rug, as it accounts for the natural stretch of the fabric. It’s made using Hoooked Zpagetti yarn, which is now carried worldwide by DMC yarns, and it took about 3 cones to make this rug (two pink ones, one purple one). Zpagetti is basically t-shirt yarn, made from leftovers from the fabric industry.
The tutorial has 19 steps with a lot of pictures, and it suitable for beginners.
You can find the tutorial here on the new hub from Crafttuts+, or in my sidebar and on my patterns page :)
Have a great weekend everyone! I’m going to try and finish one of my knitting WIPs; I’m so close to finishing my Color Affection Shawl!

Hey Alicia :) I have no idea actually, but one cone was around 500-750 grams. Hope that helps :)
