hair peace bed peace

When I was at Unravel in February, I made the mistake of leaving my beloved crochet hook necklace at the hotel. It still hasn’t turned up, even though the hotel clerk called us the very next day to tell us he found it.

I was getting ready to order a new one, when my friend Nicollie, who also made the necklace for me, alerted me to a new range of products in her shop: leather bracelets!

I absolutely adore my new bracelets, in particular the one with the crochet hook of course! The other two bracelets are inspired by the famous 1969 ‘Bed-In’ by John Lennon and Yoko Ono (if you don’t know about this, I recommend you watch the video Bed Peace by Yoko Ono that is now freely available on YouTube).

The bracelets are one size, but come with 4 pre-cut holes so they fit any size wrist (I cut the excess holes off mine). I’m normally not a big bracelet-wearer (that’s a word right?) because I sit at my computer a lot, and bracelets can really get in the way, but I’ve been wearing these cuties virtually non-stop since I got them! So comfortable, seriously.

So the good news is that if you want a bracelet of your own (with a crochet hook or any text that you want) you can head over to Nicollie’s re-opened Etsy shop, and enter code ‘WINKIE’ for 10% off your order! And the even better news is, the shipping is free – worldwide, so even for international shoppers!

Love ♥

  5. once upon a time I was a hotel desk clerk-while they can contact you about found items, they usually won’t ship them to you unless you arrange or pay for the shipping. Call the hotel back and make sure they still have your item, ask them to package it and have it ready for shipment. Then call a delivery service and arrange for pickup.

  6. Thank you for showcasing these bracelets! After seeing them, I immediately ordered the one with the crochet hook. I was shocked to find it in my mailbox yesterday as I’m in Florida. I cannot believe Nicollie got it to me so quickly! I absolutely love it and am currently wearing it.
