new project: entrelac crochet

Hi everyone :)

I’ve got a crazy busy week ahead! My calendar is filled to the brim with awesome blog posts, awesome new free patterns, awesome crochet projects and awesome other stuff like a new event this Saturday, which I’ll tell you more about in a separate blog post tomorrow… It’s all pretty awesome.

But first: do you remember this yarn?

I got it earlier this year at Unravel, in the UK! It has been sitting in my yarn stash for all that time. Don’t feel bad for it though, it has gotten some play over the months – I kept wanting to start something with it, but after a few rounds it just never felt right to me.

Until now! :) Me and Sarah from Crafts from the Cwtch decided to do a collaborative project with this yarn. She got the exact same skein at Unravel, but in a reverse colour way.

Together we want to teach you how to do entrelac, the knitting and crochet way! :) Sarah will turn her skein into something lovely using a knitted entrelac technique; and I will turn my skein into something lovely using the crochet entrelac technique. And we will share the pattern with you all for free! :)

Stay tuned as this project evolves! You can read Sarah’s introduction to our new project here.

xo,
wink
