Hi everyone! It’s time for pattern 11 to be released :) This week you’ll learn how to join your squares. Next week will see the final pattern for this CAL; how to add a border around your blanket. My oh my, time has flown by SO fast! I am sure going to miss this, but worry not – there will be a new CAL next year! :) More info on that soon!
For all the new people: you can join in on the fun by either 1. following this blog or 2. joining our Facebook group. The group is VERY active and has over 6,800 members in it, so it’s the perfect place to get help if you’re ever stuck on a pattern. For blog buttons, banners and other info you can also read the original blog post where I announce this CAL.
For everyone who’s behind or who didn’t get their yarn in time, there is a Group 2 on Facebook. Group 2 is identical to Group 1; so the same patterns, the same sneak peeks, the same rules. Just with a later start date!
You can now find all the patterns (and FAQ’s) on this dedicated page on my blog! Bookmark it; this page will be updated weekly with the new patterns! :)
The picture above is the sneak peek for this week! I know, there’s absolutely nothing to see ;) I warned the ladies in the Facebook group about this, but they were very adamant and couldn’t live without a sneak peek. Well, I guess you get what you ask for ;) Go to this page to download the patterns for this week; you can also find the Tips & Tricks PDF there, which has useful tips on how to join a new colour, how to invisibly join rounds, and other interesting tips.
We have 4 languages for the PDF’s: Dutch, English, French, and German! Thanks to a very nice group of volunteers :)
And then there’s this: we will celebrate all of our finished/almost finished blankets after the last pattern has been released next week! :D We’re throwing a party at Echtstudio in Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands, and you’re invited! If you want to join us, please let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be quick, because there is only room for so many people :)
I hope to see you there!
