Hi everyone!
Do you remember when I was working on these cute yarn babies last year?
And when they started growing into yoddlers?
And remember when they became yarnagers?
They were a little neglected after my last update because of some CAL (teehee), but I have dusted them all off and reassured them that they will continue to grow into a big beautiful blanket! :) Here’s what the yarnagers look like right now…
Some of them have grown considerably more than others, but they are still going strong, all 100 of them! :)
I’m working them up with Scheepjes Cotton 8 yarn, which is the same yarn we used in the Scheepjes CAL 2014. Big difference though; for this blanket I’m using it double stranded! It causes a big difference in stitch definition and overall look, and I just love it. My little rugged and groovy yarnagers :) I’m using a 6mm hook to crochet them, which makes for a rather speedy process!
I’ll keep you all updated over the next couple of weeks; mama needs a new (warm!) (picnic!) blanket!
xo,
wink
ps For everyone in The Netherlands, you can find all stockists for Scheepjes on their website right here. International peeps; you can order Scheepjes from Deramores.com! :)

The colors are incredible. Is the Cotton 8 yarn available in a color set, such as the succulents were for the CAL?

After following your blog for almost two years, I am still amazed at your beautiful work. I wish there wasn’t an ocean and miles of land that separated us so I could come over for a visit, watch you work, and learn a few tricks of the trade. As always, thanks so much for sharing with us.
